I led a quiet life, on a quiet street, in a house where few words were spoken. Two things became important: one, learning how to communicate silently and two, learning how to read faces.

It's no surprise then, that brushes, pens, pencils and paints become conversation and faces become confidants.

Using the canvas, I speak, sharing intimate thoughts and feelings, peering into eyes and telling stories.
